Love the pokemon diversity. The level curve is brutal if you are not using rare candies. Feels a lot like HG and SS. Without cheats im having to grind on wild pokemon.

Can please someone explain how I make this work via IPhone? I get you have to work with the file a little bit but is there an app to do it on the phone? Also I didn’t get the part with the original platinum. Thank you 👍🏻

This is literally perfect. As someone who's trying to marathon all the games to try and gain a new appreciation for them but only want modifications that improve quality of life (no absurd difficulty upgrades or stuff from modern gens), this is exactly what I want to play once I get to Platinum. Keep up the great work :)

Patch didn't work with the original game :(

For anyone wondering, this "hackrom" IS compatible with vanilla DPPT = multiplayer, and you can even play it on NDS. IMPORTANT: if you play on original hardware you will crash with your first encounter with SPOILER Cynthia and Lati@s right after Cynthia finishes speaking. So far the only fix is to transfer to emulator, battle it there and transfer back. Next crash I've experienced: after the first grunt battle in Valor lakefront, when going south after some stairs, this time I was able to avoid the crash by sticking to the left side of the map.

Definitely isn’t the DEFINITIVE Platinum experience when you made it harder at some points like giving all Gym Leaders six Pokémon, the first couple Gyms DEFINITELY shouldn’t have that many

I would have loved if you’ve added that the Pokémon follow the player around :( , nevertheless I’m gonna try it!

I recently finished the manga after my fiance got me the box set, this is just what I needed!

Platinum is one of the Pokémon titles that I replay the most, and I always want to come back to it because I love the game itself and how Sinnoh feels to explore. However, my latest playthrough has reaffirmed something for me: the game is so tedious in so many ways. Sounds like this hack will alleviate a lot of that so the game stops getting in the way of its own fun. Really glad the algorithm pushed this onto my feed, I’ll be downloading and trying it out 😊

If I might make a suggestion, I think it would be more prudent to keep Roark and Gardenia at three Pokémon each, Fantina and Maylene can shift to four, and then the remaining Gym Leaders can have five with Volkner having six. Then the Elite Four and Champion can have full teams. As far as Team Galactic goes, the Commanders having four at max feels right while Cyrus could have five or six. I get the appeal of giving enemy trainers full teams, but I think it's more appropriate for there to be a tangible feeling of Gym Leaders becoming a progressive gauntlet fight rather than having it be that way from the start. Especially when the early Gyms are usually just spamming low power moves without a whole lot of room for strategizing due to the lack of items and options.
